Basic Tofu Scramble
Ingredients
1 (14-ounce) block of firm tofu, pressed and drained
1 tablespoon low sodium tamari
3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
kala namak (Himalayan black salt—not necessary but gives it an eggy flavor), to taste or regular fine sea salt
pepper, to taste
Directions
Crumble the tofu in a bowl. Add all the ingredients and stir well to combine.
Heat a large non-stick frying pan to medium heat. Add the tofu and stir occasionally until the tofu is warmed through.
